Parcel Viewer App

This County Parcel Viewer was developed using ArcGIS Online tools. The county transitioned away from a third-party provider to gain full ownership of its GIS data and improve long-term maintenance and management.

All components of this interactive map were designed to reflect years of public input and user preferences.​

The map also includes multiple boundary, zoning, and district layers that users can toggle on and off as needed, along with flexible search tools that support multiple search options.

Potholes Project

This pilot pothole project was designed for a city government using multiple GIS-based web applications. It supports an end-to-end workflow, from public reporting and data collection to field team assignment and status updates, as well as public-facing and internal dashboards for tracking progress. Automated notifications are also triggered when new requests are submitted.

The public submits detailed information about potholes they encounter, including spatial data, through a web-based reporting form. This information is automatically displayed on a public-facing dashboard and integrated across the system. The dashboard also provides key statistical insights for users to explore.

This workflow could significantly improve communication between the city and the public, as well as within the department itself. Staff in the utility department would have access to an internal dashboard to track work status, assigned team progress and comments, and statistics for ongoing and completed work.

This approach can be applied across multiple service departments to improve not only communication, but also the clarity and speed of work completion.

Road Atlas

The road atlas project was designed for the county using ArcGIS Pro, ArcGIS Online, and Adobe tools. 

The project involved merging and updating data from multiple sources (paper records, Excel spreadsheets, PDFs, etc.) into a complete spatial dataset, which was then used to produce printable atlases, an interactive PDF atlas, and online road maps for various uses.

All data was centralized and refined to ensure accurate, up-to-date information for both the county departments and the public.
